For more than 50 years, Ateliers Gohard have been passionately creating exceptional finishes based on gold leaf and contemporary materials. Located in Paris, London and New York, the company has become a reference in the field of gilding, material creation, painting and decorative painting. Ateliers Gohard, a living heritage company, works within luxury and high luxury decoration, for major designers, prestigious hotels and historical monuments such as the Statue of the Liberty, Versailles Palace, Place de la Concorde or the Dome of Invalides.
The story began in 1962 under the know-how of the gilder Robert Gohard who created the Ateliers Robert Gohard in Paris. The restoration of gilding was the heart of the company. Subsequently, two generations of Gohard succeeded, managing the company. First the son Fabrice Gohard in 1990, then the grandson Baptiste Gohard in 2002. The company had a big turning point in the creation of two subsidiaries, one in New York in 2003 and one in London in 2016. Over the years, the Ateliers Gohard company acquired many diversifications such as metallization, varnish, the integration of painters and decorator painters and contemporary gilding.
